ArmourCool HD Cap is reinforced with a composite mat that is saturated and coated with SBS modified bitumen to a thickness of 4.0 mm (158 mils) (one roll is 1m x 8m, 8m area). This composite mat has an added fiberglass grid in the polyester mat, making it especially strong and dimensionally stable (better lay straight tendencies). Highly reflective mineral granules are embedded in the surface to provide protection against UV radiation, and a light poly-film is bonded to the underside (which disappears upon heat-welding).

Specially formulated for excellent fire resistance, this membrane has highly reflective, mineral granules embedded in the top surface to provide protection against ultraviolet radiation, while the underside is covered with a thin poly-film, which disappears upon torch welding. IKO ArmourReflect Top Coat is an acrylic-based, breathable elastomeric coating which provides high Solar Reflectance Index values. This coating may be used without dilution by brush or roller. IKO ArmourRelect Top Coat shows exceptionally good flexibility, protective properties, and weatherability. The polymer is a self cross-linking acrylic. This elastomeric water-based formulation is particularly suited for use as a crack-bridging surfacer for roofs.
